Lilac Editing serves individuals and companies in need of editorial and proofreading services for public communications. Formats include your book or project including fiction, romance and YA (Young Adult—fantasy, dragons, elves, etc.) as well as business communications of all types. Business formats could include Artificial Intelligence generated content, social media posts, brochures, press releases, instructions to consumers, operator manuals and service manuals. My background includes mechanical engineering, sales, supply chain management, operation of an outdoor power equipment dealership and certificates in proofreading, copyediting and line editing.

As your editor I will maintain your voice and brand while clarifying your message.

I will supply a sample edit at no cost to establish a working relationship.  I have experience in developmental editing, line editing, copyediting and proofreading. I have edited several short stories, a recently published book in the romance genre, a memoir and professional communications for several businesses. I welcome experienced authors and particularly enjoy encouraging and working with new authors.
